How this site earns, and what that does and does not change for you.

Every booking link on this site is an affiliate link to GetYourGuide. If you book through one, we are paid a commission by GetYourGuide. Your price is exactly the same as it would be without us.

That is the whole business model. There is no charge to read the site, no newsletter to join, no paid placement, and no operator has ever paid to be ranked, described or photographed in a particular way.

What the model does change is what we bother to cover. We write about things that can be booked, because that is what pays for the research. Where the honest answer is "do this one yourself", we say so and link nothing — the cable car and the summit permit are both bought from the mountain, not from us, and we have said so on every page they appear.

We do not link to hotels, because we earn nothing on beds and would have no way to rank them that you could trust.

Orderings on this site come from rating and review volume, applied the same way to every product. Where a cheaper tour is better, the page says so even though the cheaper tour pays us less.
